Father Guilty of Severely Injuring 11 Week Old Son
Mount Clemens, MI - On Friday, July 26, 2024, a Macomb County Jury convicted 36-year-old Adam Doe on First Degree Child Abuse after a three week trial by Assistant Prosecutor Darrian Fortier.
On February 22, 2024, Adam Doe injured his eleven week old son causing multiple severe brain injuries, and fractures.
Adam Doe was remanded to the Macomb County Jail after the trial conviction. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 9:00 am by Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Sabaugh.
"Our hearts go out to the young victim and his family, who have endured unimaginable pain and suffering. This conviction brings some measure of justice for the severe injuries inflicted upon this innocent child. We hope this verdict provides a sense of closure and reassurance that such actions will not go unpunished in our society," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
