Eastpointe Woman Arraigned for Allegedly Stabbing Boyfriend

A 26-year-old Eastpointe woman was arraigned in connection with the stabbing of her boyfriend.

Eastpointe Woman Arraigned for Allegedly Stabbing Boyfriend

Mount Clemens, MI - A 26-year-old Eastpointe woman was arraigned in connection with the stabbing of her boyfriend.  

On Monday, May 13, 2024, Shantisha Howse allegedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times in the torso after a quarrel in their Eastpointe home.  The victim remains in the hospital in stable condition.

Shantish Howse was charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, a life felony.  She was arraigned in 38th Eastpointe District Court where District Court Judge Kathleen Galen set bond at $250,000 cash/surety only.  If released Howse must wear a GPS tether and have no contact with the victim.  A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 8:00am and a Preliminary Exam is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 8:00am.
