Mount Clemens, MI - A 54-year-old doctor was arraigned in connection with a sexual advance gone wrong.

It is alleged that on Thursday, August 1, 2024, Stephen Bruce Mason drove the 76-year-old victim, who he befriended online, home from a hair appointment.  The victim invited Mason in her home.  While in her home, Mason made sexual advances on her but she rejected his advances.  After being rebuffed, Mason allegedly masturbated in front of her.

Mason was charged with Assault, a 93-day misdemeanor and Aggravated Indecent Exposure, a two year high court misdemeanor.  Mason was arraigned in Sterling Heights District Court where Magistrate Michael Piatek set a $1,000 personal bond.  A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm by Sterling Heights District Court Judge Annemarie Lepore.
