ALERT
January 8, 2025: Today I filed a police report with the Macomb County Sheriff Office after learning that my personal and Macomb County Prosecutor Facebook pages were cloned by someone impersonating me to post outrageous and offensive comments. Let me be clear: these comments are not mine, nor are they from my office, and I strongly condemn them. This fraudulent activity has been reported to Facebook, and we are working with the platform to resolve it. I appreciate the community’s patience as we address this.
This incident does not diminish the critical work our office carries out every day. Beyond holding criminals accountable, our team has achieved significant milestones: streamlining warrant processing, modernizing case management and digital evidence systems, securing vital grant funding, ensuring fairness in child support enforcement, reforming hiring practices, and greatly enhancing services for crime victims, repeatedly earning national recognition as a model of good governance."
