Judge Sandra Harrison-Suratt
Judge Sandra Harrison-Suratt graduated from the University of Michigan in 1993; receiving a Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in English and Sociology. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1997. Judge Harrison was appointed to the Macomb County Probate bench on April 24, 2017 by Gov. Rick Snyder. She started her legal career at Salvatore D. Palombo & Associates, P.C., with practice areas including family law, estate planning, criminal and general civil. Prior to her appointment to the Probate bench, she was an attorney with Simasko, Simasko & Simasko, P.C. for 15 years where her primary areas of practice were family law, estate planning and probate litigation. Judge Harrison is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Macomb County Bar Association. She lives in Shelby Township with her husband and three daughters. She and her family are members of St. John Vianney Church in Shelby Township.
