Michigan State University Extension 4-H is partnering with the Recreational Authority of Roseville and Eastpointe (R.A.R.E.) to offer a dynamic entrepreneurial day camp designed for teens titled “Be Your Own Boss.” The day camp will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Recreation Authority Center located at 18185 Sycamore St. in Roseville.
The camp is intended to encourage young minds to explore entrepreneurship through interactive activities and inspiring talks delivered by successful entrepreneurs. Participants will learn essential skills, from idea generation to business planning and marketing strategies.
“When opportunity does not knock, learn how to build your own door,” said Kathy Jamieson, one of the Michigan State University Extension educators who will teach the program. “We are excited to have Alysa Diebolt, owner of Brick Town Glass and a 4-H volunteer, join us as she shares her experiences on how to turn your passions into profits.”
For additional information about the program and to register, please visit the R.A.R.E. website at https://bit.ly/3XpqlZy and select the Youth and Teen Enrichment Programs tab. The cost to participate in the “Be Your Own Boss” day camp is $10 per person.
Don't miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity and ignite your passion!
