Macomb County Regional Housing Partnership announces Housing Needs Assessment kickoff meeting

The Macomb County Regional Housing Partnership, led by the Macomb County Department of Health and Community Services, is inviting the public to its upcoming Housing Needs Assessment kickoff, scheduled for Thursday, March 13 from 9 – 11 a.m. at 21885 Dunham Road in Clinton Township. The meeting is intended to provide details on the housing needs assessment process and how the assessment will be used in the future.  

“This is clearly a big part of what the Macomb Regional Housing Partnership is intended to do,” said Andrew Cox, Director/Health Officer of the Macomb County Department of Health and Community Services.  “By providing a public forum for cross-sector collaboration and exchange, we’re hoping to create new housing opportunities, reduce gaps and help establish stability in the housing ecosystem in Macomb County.”

The Housing Needs Assessment kickoff meeting will be particularly informative for:

  • Housing advocacy organizations
  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Community advocates
  • Local planners
  • Local government officials
  • Housing developers
  • Landlords
  • Local community/economic developers
  • Growing/emerging employers
  • Homeless services providers
