About this project

The Macomb County Department of Health and Community Services and the Macomb Regional Housing Partnership (MRHP) led the Macomb County Community and Housing Needs Assessment project to better understand the housing needs in Macomb County and help focus efforts of the MRHP to promote strategic decisions about the housing market. The assessment identified the market rate and affordable housing supply, demand, market analysis, and market needs and indicators for housing.

Over the course of the project, 14 community engagement events were held and a county-wide survey was administered to help inform our work. We sincerely thank everyone who participated in the engagement events, as well as everyone who completed the community assessment survey. Your time, input, and feedback were invaluable and we are grateful for your time and contribution.

This assessment is more than just a report. It designed to be a living resource, a roadmap to inform decisions and drive action. Stay connected to see how these insights translate into real progress towards housing access and affordability in all communities across Macomb County.
