Emergency Management and Communications

We serve as the County's designated disaster response agency and emergency operation center with the responsibility for all diaster and emgerency management and response coordination.

Mission statement

Macomb County Emergency Management supports a safe and secure community by facilitating activities and coordinating resources that enhance the ability of local municipalities, first responders and the public to prevent for, mitigate, respond to and recover from emergencies and disasters, including the coordination, implementation and maintenance of two-way governmental radio systems and equipment that enhance communication capabilities.
