MACCA names Julie Bovenschen Court Administrator of the Year

MACCA (Michigan Association of Circuit Court Administrators) named Julie Bovenschen Court Administrator of the Year on October 8, 2025 in recognition of her extraordinary leadership ability and efforts to establish alternative funding sources. She was previously awarded the Rising Star Award following her innovative and compassionate approach to handling complex issues.

Julie Bovenschen has been the Court Administrator over the 16th Judicial Circuit Court, Macomb County Probate Court, and the 42-1 and 42-2 District Courts since 2016 after serving as Deputy Court Administrator since 2012.
