Linda Harrison Named as the New Deputy Court Administrator of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court

Linda Harrison has been named as the new Deputy Court Administrator for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court, having been appointed by Chief Judge Biernat effective March 31, 2025.

Ms. Harrison has worked as the Chief Juvenile Referee at the 16th Judicial Circuit Court since 2012. In that time, she has been responsible for the Referees, Adoption, Finance, and Clerical Services units of the Juvenile Division. Previously, Ms. Harrison was a Juvenile Referee from 2004 – 2012, where she presided over delinquency, abuse and neglect, adoption, and reimbursement hearings. Prior to joining the Court, Ms. Harrison was in private practice following her graduation from Detroit College of Law.

Chief Judge Biernat stated: “Linda has been an incredible asset to the Juvenile Division of the Circuit Court with her combined skills of leadership, management, multi-tasking, communication, and problem solving. Her knowledge of court operations, in addition to her administrative and management skills, makes her a great fit for this new leadership role with the Courts. I am excited to work with her in her new role as Deputy Court Administrator.”
