Criminal Court
The Macomb 16th Judicial Circuit Court has jurisdiction over felony criminal cases and some serious misdemeanors.
Civil Court
The Macomb 16th Judicial Circuit Court has jurisdiction in all civil cases involving more than $25,000.00. The court also has jurisdiction over appeals from district courts and administrative agencies.
Business Court
The Business Court, is a division of the Circuit Court. Its purpose is to utilize best practices for the resolution of disputes between business entities; to improve the efficiency of the courts and to utilize technology in managing business court cases; to enhance the accuracy, consistency and predictability of decisions in business and commercial cases.
