Macomb County

How You Can Help

Do you have supplies that you would like to donate to help Macomb County first responders and hospitals respond to the COVID-19 pandemic? At this time, we are in need of:

  • Nitrile gloves
  • N95 Masks
  • Gowns
  • Splatter shields

Please send an email to and someone will be in touch. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to ask how they can help us respond and overcome the impact of Coronavirus on our community.

At the moment, our greatest need is the following:

  • Individuals to assist in delivering prepared meals to homebound individuals

If you would like to get involved please complete the application found below.

Please also be aware that a criminal background and driving record check will be performed for all individuals who wish to get involved. You will be asked to consent to this process in the volunteer application.

Our goal is to organize a volunteer system that provides help where it is needed most with emphasis on keeping everyone safe. To help reduce potential exposure for those who fit the category of “vulnerable for serious illness” (or who may live with or care for someone who is vulnerable), we are asking that you let us know if you meet certain criteria in advance. We will do our best to match you with a volunteer opportunity that does not increase your risk for exposure.

If you are an individual wishing to volunteer with Macomb County, please fill out this formYou will receive a follow up from a county representative within a few days. If you have any questions, please contact our help line at 586-469-5100. This line is answered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
