66-Year-Old Man Sentenced in Criminal Sexual Conduct Case

Mount Clemens, MI - In March 2024, a Macomb County jury convicted 66-year-old Dennis Peterson Sr. in two cases that were combined into one trial by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Stager. Yesterday, Peterson was sentenced by visiting Judge Antonio Viviano and the sentences run concurrently.

Peterson was sentenced to the following in the first case:

  • 25-30 years for First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a victim under 13 years old and the defendant over 17 years old (life felony)
  • 25-30 years for First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a victim under 13 years old and the defendant over 17 years old (life felony)
  • 25-30 years for First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a victim under 13 years old and the defendant over 17 years old (life felony)
  • 29-180 months for Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a victim under 13 years old and the defendant over 17 years old (15 year felony)

Peterson was sentenced to the following in the second case:

  • 25-30 years for First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a victim under 13 years old and the defendant over 17 years old (life felony)
  • 108-180 months for First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct where defendant is related to the victim (life felony)
  • 108-180 months for First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct where defendant is related to the victim (life felony)
